K12 will reach the back of the hall better (more directional and higher SPL). Does that mean the K8.2 would be better than the K12.2 for stereo? I'm looking to play in stereo in such a large room.
I use my QSC speakers in conjunction with a Behringer X-Air mixer. For classical guitar I would think the K8.2 would be plenty in a small to medium large room. The angle of sound dispersion increases as the woofer size decreases. Several years ago I A-B’d the K12 against everything with a 12” woofer they had in the store (local Guitar Center) and it was an easy choice.
