I’ll update when I go back tomorrow to take back my last $1,000.
I took my final $1,000 and turned it into $7,000 TWICE. If you’re keeping score, I am officially only down $1,000 after all of that. Lost the $700 and decided to walk with $7,000. Built that $2k I now had all the way to $7,700. Went back to my table (playing alone btw) in the high limit room, put the $1,000 out (2 $500 hands) and said fuck it bc my patience was gone. Absolutely mortified I went to the ATM and took out $1,000. Drove the 2 hours back to Tampa with the $5,000 I still had in the envelope.
Took the day off from work and wanted my $2,000 back that I was down overall. Decided to go home at that point since my buddy already had. Had almost $8,000 but lost it back to the 7 and walked. I took it out and sat back at the same table. I was pretty down on myself so I went to the ATM and was allowed to take my limit of $1,000 out since I hadn’t used the ATM yet. When my money was gone I realize he had gone back to the hotel without me. By then he had still been ordering me Jameson doubles so I was close to blacked out. I got up and cash advanced another $3500. My buddy’s ordering me straight Jameson doubles on the rocks the entire time. My buddy and I drank a 5th of Patron from 6-7, hopped on the shuttle at the hotel that brings us to the casino free of charge, and I sat down with $2,000 to play $25 hand blackjack. Played blackjack at the Hard Rock in Tampa over the weekend.
